GENERAL

1. Why do you donate the profits back? -top-
Because we view what we do as an opportunity to give back to our community. All of us involved have other jobs that allow us to pay the bills...we are just thrilled that people like our pictures enough to buy them. Because we view this as a ministry, we are thrilled when we are able to give back to our community! Our faith guides what we do...not the money.

2. Why don't you shoot away sporting events? -top-
Because of our schedule, it makes it difficult for us to get away. There are those rare exceptions. If you have an event outside of Ashland you would like us to cover, we either ask that you cover our gas expenses or provide a ride. Also, there are plenty of events in Ashland to keep us busy here.

3. When do you donate the profits back to any given team? -top-
We tend to donate the profits back following the conclusion of the season that event was held. If you have not yet received your donation check and would like to request it, please contact us.

4. How long will you keep the pictures online for? -top-
Photos hosted through Shutterfly will remain online until sometime mid-summer 2009. At that time, those links will become inactive. However, we still will have those photos and they can be re-posted through our new website. We will not be reposting every gallery that was through Shutterfly, but only those requested by a customer for viewing or ordering. All photos on our new website are slated to be online for the length of our agreement with our current provider.

5. Do you sponsor any teams, groups or events? -top-
It depends. Since most of the money we donate back is directly linked to the photograph sales from that team/event, it's hard to donate to additional groups. However, in the past we have sponsored several baseball teams. Please contact us if you are interested in sponsorship.

USING OUR SERVICES

6. Can you come photograph my/my child's event? -top-
We can sure try. Please understand that all of us associated with Black and White are volunteers. We will come to your event depending on our availability, weather, and location. Click HERE to learn how to request our services. Please note that for youth sports outside of the schools, we usually require an invitation from either a parent or a coach.

7. How much do you charge to photograph an event? -top-
If it is a sporting event in Ashland we charge nothing for our services. All we ask is that you help distribute our cards to those in attendance. If the sporting event is outside of Ashland we charge $0.58 per mile and any meals (i.e. if we are there over lunch or dinner, we ask that a meal be provided). If it is a private event we charge $30 per hour (weddings are at a different rate). For more information on our fees, please contact us.

8. Are you available for private events, family shoots, weddings, etc? -top-
Yes. But again, it all depends on our availability. To arrange a private session, please email Tim Black.

ORDERING PHOTOGRAPHS

9. Do you offer any packages or quantity discounts? -top-
At this time we do not. Because we help raise money for school and community groups, if we offer discounts, it takes away from what we can donate back to those groups. If you have any questions regarding this, please do not hesitate to contact us. We do offer packages when shoot a team's athlete & team photos (not action photographs).

10. Can I buy the digital image or a CD of images? -top-
Black and White Services does not release the original image files if you have purchased a print through our site for free. You are able to purchase a digital file for $35.00 per each image. These images can be purchased online!

11. Are your photographs in color or black & white? -top-
Yes, all of our photographs are sold in color. Our name, Black and White Services, is merely that, our name. However, if you like, we can convert a photo to Black and White for you at no additional cost. Oddly enough, this is one of the most common questions we get asked!

12. Can I order your pictures over the phone, through email, or through the mail? -top-
Effective May 2008, our photographs are only for sale through the website. Due to our time constraints, having to fulfill orders sent through the mail, was taking us 2-3 weeks to deliver the prints. By ordering online, you receive them much faster. We cannot accept phone orders or orders via email. Please call before ordering online if you have any questions or concerns. This does not apply to AFUMC members, ACS Employees or Ashland MS/HS Coaches.

13. Can I order prints from different albums or galleries? -top-
ORDERS WITH EXPOSURE MANAGER (NEW HOSTING SITE):
You are able to order pictures from any sport or event hosted through our site (not including photos hosted on Shutterfly). Simply add photos to either your shopping cart or add to your favorites. For questions regarding this, please contact us. By ordering all of your prints in one order, you save on your shipping charges!

ORDERS WITH SHUTTERFLY:
You are able to order pictures from different albums within the same gallery. However, you are not able to order pictures from different galleries. An example would be that you could order multiple prints from different football games, but you could not order pictures from a basketball game and a swim meet in the same order. When viewing pictures, to order additional images from a different album, follow these instructions:

1. On the right hand side of the window that you are viewing pictures in (on a shutterfly page), you will see the following.
2. Click on "View all albums"
3. That will take you to the Shutterfly directory of all albums within the given sport's gallery you are viewing
4. Albums are sorted chronologically - simply search for the next game you wish to order from and click on it.
5. Continue to add pictures into your cart using this method.
6. ***If you return to a blackandwhiteservices.org gallery listing and open a NEW window to view pictures from, it will not understand to put those pictures into the same order. If you need further assistance, please feel free to call!***

14. Part of my order is missing. Where's the rest? -top-
If part of your order has not arrived, please contact us immediately. Be sure to have your order number available. Please review your order confirmation to confirm whether or not your order may arrive in multiple shipments. If you ordered through Shutterfly and have issues, you can find their contact information by click here. For Orders through Exposure Manager, please contact us.

15. I received the wrong pictures with an online order. What do I do? -top-
Ooops. Sorry about that. We know it can be frustrating to order one thing, but get another. In our two years with Shutterfly, this has only happened twice, and both times within several days the correct products were delivered! When contacting Shutterfly, please be sure to have your order number available. You can find their contact information by click here. If your order was through Exposure Manager, please contact us so that we can resolve the issue for you as soon as possible.

16. I received an email about free shipping or a special discount through Shutterfly. Why does that not apply to my order? -top-
Any special promotions on discounts or shipping through Shutterfly do not apply to orders made in pro-galleries. It only applies to pictures you upload through your own, free, account with them. We are unable to honor any discounts through their site they may advertise. If by chance we are running a sale, it would be advertised on our site (www.blackandwhiteservices.org) and the prices you would see would ALREADY reflect any discounts being offered.
