Our story...

Black and White Services, LLC was founded in March of 2006. Prior to that time, we were simply doing what we could for family, friends and local sports teams. It wasn't until we received requests from more and more people, that we invisioned it becoming something more.

Starting with a wrestling tournament, Black and White Services was birthed with Tim Black and four student volunteers. We don’t promise perfection, but what we do have and know, we offer to you.

We are a commission-based business. The organization or group we are assisting earns a portion of the profit and a portion is donated to the Ashland First United Methodist Church Student Ministry.

We are often asked if we sell our photographs in color. That's actually how they all come. The next question is then usually why we call ourselves "Black and White Services." First off, our founder's last name is Black and the use of Black and White is merely a reference to photography. Services implies that we do what we can, whether it's photographs or in other ways. We are here to serve, not to be served.

In our first year of business, we were able to donate back $9,021.07! Over $4,400 went back to Ashland High School athletics. Our passion is taking great photographs, but also being a positive influence in the life of our community. We are driven by our love for Christ and our love for others.

Black and White Services is proud to have two photographers, Tim Black (click for bio) and Greg Squires (bio coming soon!) on staff. Beginning in August of 2008, a third photographer will be joining our staff. We are a full-service photography business and would be excited to discuss with you with whatever photographic needs you might have.

Unfortunately, because this is not a full-time endeavor for any of the volunteers, we are unable to accept every request we receive. If you would like to request our services, click HERE.
