Tim Black came to Ashland seven years ago to major in Political Science at Ashland University. At the same time he began working at Ashland First United Methodist Church as the Coordinator of Student Ministries. In his sophomore year, he changed his major to Religion. Graduating in 2004, Tim then attended Ashland Theological Seminary for two years. In his second year, he felt called into ministry, but rather in the public schools. Now back at AU in their Bachelor's Plus program to receive his teaching degree for 7-12 Social Studies, he still enjoys taking action photographs for |
the city schools and many community sports and groups. He is the official photographer for the United Way of Ashland County and Team JAWS Youth Wrestling. He is also the official "action" photographer for Ashland Youth Football, the Mansfield Mehock Track & Field Meet and the Spreng-Smith Tennis Tournament. Tim also works with Ashland Travel Club, specializing in middle school trips to Washington D.C. and New York City. He enjoys running, hoping to once again compete in a marathon (hoping for Columbus 2008). His passion for photography has grown since starting Black and White Services in March of 2006. Tim hopes to finally be done with his schooling one of these years! |
